Standard grating
The channel drain is specially designed for situations where standard, lightweight channel drains are susceptible to blockage by silt and debris or likely to be overwhelmed by storm water.
Applications include public car parks, industrial premises and residential driveways.
It is an all-steel modular design that can be installed on a prepared site in a few hours. All steelwork is galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461.
The channel drains is fitted with a heavy duty pedestrian grating to BS4592. The grating is hinged to facilitate maintenance.
With an open grating of 1250 cm2 for the standard grating and 735 cm2 for the omni-drectional grating, the channel drain has excellent storm water handling.
Outflow can run to either or both sides.
