More about our Cattle Grids

Our Cattle grids are suitable for controlling all types of stock including cattle, sheep, deer and goats. We manufacture a range of quick fit and drop in style grids to suit various applications. All of our cattle grids are galvanised and made to British Standard BS4008:2006. Our grids are low maintenance, reliable and built to last.

If you wish to control stock or have animals nearby then you will need one of our cattle grids. Our cattle grids also act as a drainage grid. If you have a flood issue or wish to redirect water, our cattle grids can solve this problem for you. Our drainage grids can also solve your water issues, but these are not safe to use when there is animals in the vicinity. Drainage grids are smaller than our cattle grids and therefore not suitable for controlling animals. A cattle grid must be a minimum of 8ft 6” jump distance (in the direction of the road) to deter cattle and sheep from crossing and min. 13ft jump distance to prevent deer from crossing. The drainage grids only have a 850mm jump distance as standard.

Our cattle grids feature 110mm diameter holes in the bases. There can either be piped to mains drains / soak away, etc, or left to drain away if the land is suitable for self-draining.
